Funeral Cost Help For Thelma Camacho

Hey everybody, this is Jose, Ventura, and Roberto, Thelma's sons. Since her diagnosis in April 2023, our mom has courageously been fighting Burkitt Lymphoma, an aggressive form of blood cancer. She successfully completed six rounds of chemotherapy since and achieved remission this past October. Unfortunately January 2024, her lymphoma returned and due to the severity and aggressiveness of her cancer she is currently in the ICU.

Our family and friends have done an amazing job of advocating for Thelma and providing care. If you have had the pleasure of knowing Thelma, you know how strong and compassionate of a person she is. Her strength comes from a place of love and understanding, and I'm blessed to say she has passed that onto us. I suspect anyone who comes into contact with her feels the same.

Unfortunately, over this past year the medical expenses of fighting cancer have started to hurt the family's level of care we can provide. Since Thelma's diagnosis Roberto chose to stop working in order to support her cancer journey full time. Ventura has taken multiple flights back and forth from California to Texas exhausting all of his leave and savings.

Jose and his partner Sabrina give a sizeable portion of their earnings each month and have relocated to the valley to help keep this fight going.

It is a misfortune that financials can dictate the level of care someone receives, especially with how scary and vulnerable it can be to fight cancer. With that being said, we appreciate any donations at this time to help her fight this disease and continue to provide her with the best level of care we can.
