Help Theresa Brewer fight Leukemia (AML)

Hi, my name is Lisa and I have created this fundraiser for my mother Theresa. She was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia on Dec. 8, 2022. The doctors found 80% of cancerous white blood cells in her bone marrow. She is currently undergoing chemo treatment(s) and has a long journey ahead of her. After chemo, she will then go through a stem cell transplant out of state.

My mother is very well known in the Siouxland area due to she worked at meat packing plants in the past and as a server at many restaurants. (most recently at Chili's in Sioux City IA). She has always been the hardest working, strongest woman that would help anyone if she can. She is an avid animal lover who rescues and cares for fur babies and feathered friends.

Currently, she is unable to work and is receiving blood and platelet transfusions every 2 days. She is fighting hard against this battle with AML and is determined to beat it.
