Help Theresa Gallagher with Medical Bills

Because so many have supported Theresa in the past, it was with some reluctance that she allowed me to create this page for her. I explained that many people asked for a way to help her, so here we are!

Due to many unanticipated complications during surgery to remove her original tumor (along with ongoing chemo and radiation to kill metastases, including a lung resection), Theresa used the last round of funding to pay for scans and other medical bills that weren’t covered by her insurance during 2021-2022.

Theresa is currently undergoing surgery to restore full colon function and will be out of work for the next 4-6 weeks. After prying, I learned that Theresa has only one vacation/PTO day for the rest of the year! Can we help her with this?

I hope that this fundraiser will give her a bit of cushion to cover not only her upcoming medical bills, but help with her cost of living while without income.

Theresa is ever-thoughtful and concerned about all of us who live along her route. Her strength in staring down Stage IV colon cancer is amazing to me. She is convinced that one of the reasons she has fought so hard is because of the love and generosity, the kindness and care, shown to her by her Southern Village family.

Let’s reflect some of her warmth and goodness by helping her through this next phase of treatment.
