Help Theta Xi Chapter of Theta Chi

Hello,

Our Theta Xi Chapter of Theta Chi at VCU is saddened to come to you all in this desperate state, but we hope you read as we are in deep need of an assisting hand. We have spent the last couple years endlessly struggling to hammer away at our huge financial deficit that we currently owe to Nationals; but despite our efforts we still owe $7000 and are now facing having our charter pulled and this being our last semester on campus. We’ve been on this campus for 30+ years and we never thought we would end up in such a seemingly hopeless situation. This is why we are reaching out to all of our resolute brothers across the country for this cause.

Our chapter will be having a hearing on March 10th with Nationals and if we do not erase this debt, then we will be disbanded as a fraternity. The reality of our situation is that our chapter does not have enough time nor active brothers to settle the remainder of our debt while still operating adequately.

We have weighed our options and are going to any lengths to erase this debt and move forward to honor the 31 years we have been an active and renowned organization here at Virginia Commonwealth University. We refuse to accept defeat in a time of hardship.

We are asking for absolutely any funds that can be shared with our chapter. We joined this fraternity knowing we were helping build the best brotherhood in the world and we know our brothers will be our salvation.

We appreciate any support you can offer, no matter how much… Any contributions made would go towards paying off our debt and ensuring that we can continue to provide an exceptional experience for our members. We believe that the strength of our fraternity lies in the bond between all Theta Chi chapters, and we are hopeful that you will be able to support us during this difficult time.
