Help this amazing woman Gail Wesley fight cancer

Mike Wesley Sr (Pop), Mike Wesley Jr., Nita Waldow, Anthony Wesley, Trish Wesley Holowchak, and Cindy Speirs are asking for your help and support as our mom Gail Wesley faces the fight of her life.

Mom went to the doctors back in October of 2023 with back pain. She was told she had degenerative disc disease and was referred to physical therapy. After weeks of treatments ,her back was in worse pain than ever. She decided to go to another doctor and was told from him that she had a fracture in her upper spine from osteoporosis and would need surgery to fix it.

She had the back surgery to repair her fracture on December 29,2023. After a couple of days of no relief from the pain, we returned to the doctor who performed the back surgery. He went on to tell her his job was done and said she just had a pulled muscle from pulling herself up off the couch. She was sent home with muscle relaxers and a cream for her back.

She didn't get any relief from those medications and remained in horrible pain.

On January 7th, my sisters and I took mom to the emergency room where we all received unexpected heartbraking news. After months of being misdiagnosed and in horrible pain, our mom was told she has Cancer, Metastatic Renal Cell Carcinoma

(kidney cancer).

As if that wasn't enough bad news for one day , they also told her she has a tumor close to her spinal cord and that has caused another fracture to her spine.

Sadly, due to all of the stress, back to back appointments, and the scans in the last couple of weeks, mom has developed Bells Palsy. Her right side of her face is partially paralyzed and its hard for her to talk. She is on medication now for that and we are hopeful for a full recovery.

She will need another surgery on January 31st to remove the tumor on her spine and place rods in her back. The rods will help stabilize her spine once the tumor is removed.

Mom will then have to start radiation and chemotherapy treatments once the tumor has been taken out.

With our dad and all her children by her side, Mom is staying strong and positive despite everything that has come her way. She is very determined to beat this.

She has a long hard road ahead of her ,but with your support it will help her to pay for the doctors and hospital bills so she can focus on her treatments and recovery.

Our family has been blind sided and devastated by this diagnosis , so any support and prayers you can give would be greatly appreciated.
