Help this dairy family of 9 rebuild after arson

Donation protected
My name is Nicci Sloat and have been friends and neighbors of Daniel and Vivian Imhoff for 17 years, in Goshen, IN. They have 7 children whom my family have grown to love, in addition to their parents. We have watched them work 18 hours a day, 6 days a week for those 17 years milking cows, making hay, planting and harvesting corn.
Last night, Sept 18, an arsonist lit their barn on fire and it burnt to the ground. All that remains are piles of manure and smoldering hay. In that barn was thousands of dollars of hay that we’ve watched them toil to grow, bale, and load. Also lost was their beloved pony, Patty, that pulled their children’s cart to school each day. Daniel’s horse whom he rode each day to move cows was lost- he has loved him since he was a teenager. They also lost their puppy, several cows and other horses.
Their milk parlor was damaged beyond the point of use. Their house siding is buckeled and melted from the heat. Their hay elevator was also burnt up. Their silage storage was damaged use to feed their herd. The damage is beyond devastating for them.
Our friends are part of the Old Order Mennonite church and would NEVER ask for money or charity. They know nothing of my effort here and won’t even know who donated. The money received will just show up in their bank account.
Their situation is truly heartbreaking, all at the hands of an arsonist, and I ask for your generosity. I can promise you that this family will make every dollar stretch beyond our understanding.
thank you.
