​I’d like you to meet a most wonderful family who have been on nearly a three-year journey. They left Russia several months before war broke out between Russia and Ukraine—eventually they found themselves in Southeast Asia (Cambodia), having secured passage in several other nations. If they were to return to the “conflict zone” they would be involved in a war neither one of them supports—since Nadezhda is from Ukraine and Sergei from Russia. Returning now would be too dangerous for them.

​We’ve invited them to come to the USA and to do so legally—this is all the more urgent since their current stay in Cambodia elapses in early June, 2024. I have known Sergei for some time and find him to be a talented and caring person who has a heart for the Savior. He’s supporting his family now by teaching English to Russian-speaking people also in Cambodia.

​Securing airfare and initial living expenses is critical—and, yes, we have found housing/sponsors for them. Bringing them to the USA and to safety is our quest on their behalf. Could you help them? I rarely ask for assistance like this—but I think that the Body of Christ has a real opportunity to express their care in such a needy situation. Pray for them that they will take heart and that He will make a way for this young family.
