Help this homeless vet on Veterans Day

Hey everyone I'm Jimmy. I am proud to have served my country and my fellow Americans. I recently lost my home and am literally out in the streets. I am going to lose everything I own if I can't get it out of storage in the next 2 weeks. It is disheartening not knowing where you are sleeping every night, having no where safe, warm and comfortable to go. I don't even have a running vehicle to get around or sleep in. This is a terrible experience, constant uncertainty, cold, hunger, stress, and embarrassment. I'm not looking for a hand out, I just need a hand up. In the Army we don't leave our guys behind and I'm not going to start now by leaving my other half out in the cold by going to a VA shelter. I feel lost and overwhelmed without a home base. You don't realize how much security is taken for granted until it's gone. I can't get comfortable or relax out here. I'm hyper aware of my surroundings and always trying to fiigure out what my next move is. It is so frustrating being unable to just go home, make something to eat, take a shower, get in bed, listen to a podcast snuggle up with the person you love and fall asleep in safety security and comfort. It's something you don't think about for most people it's a given. It used to be a given for us to but not now it's scary how fast things can change how quickly everything you hold dear can be taken away from you and if you don't have money there's literally nothing you can do about it.
I plan to use whatever help I receive to get a safe place to sleep, get everything we own into a storage unit of our own, find a permanent home and maybe even get our vehicle running so we aren't stranded and can get things done
