Help this momma keep fighting her fight!

Update: Kira’s family asked me to update everyone on Kira! Since the last post, she has started chemo, receiving two out of her four treatments. She is then scheduled for radiation after chemo is over. She has been suffering tremendously since the beginning of chemotherapy. Her port has been causing all kinds of issues. After the first chemo she was hospitalized for having a small infection near her port. Most recently, her last chemo has left her hospitalized again with a serious blood infection. She is currently in the hospital fighting to get better. They’ve removed the port thankfully. In the upcoming days, they will do tests and procedures to figure out if the infection has spread to her heart. Her blood work is slowly improving, but we won’t know the extent of the illness until a few more days. She has a team of doctors working for her… oncologist, infectious disease doctor, cardiologist, and so many more. They are providing the best care they can. I’m hoping all her friends and family can come together again and try to help her out. She tried going back to work for a little after her first chemo, but she struggled physically and emotionally as she’s trying to beat this cancer! This infection has forced her to quit working again and probably for quite some time! If you could please find it in your heart to help, it would be greatly appreciated! Hi, my name is Brittany and I’m raising funds for one very special person. My best friend, Kira Herren, was given the unexpected news a few days before Christmas that she had stage 3 breast cancer. At that point, things began moving very quickly. She was scheduled for a mastectomy last week and was given even more devastating news. It has spread to some of her lymph nodes. Unfortunately, we don’t know the extent of what this means but more news will come as she heals from surgery and meets with her doctors. With this news and how quickly her life has changed in a matter of weeks, she now has to focus on fighting this cancer. I’m hoping to help raise a little money to help with medical bills so the stress and burden can be lifted a little. She has three beautiful children that she has to take care of. The diagnosis and surgery all happened very quickly, and as she is slowly recovering, it will still be a very long time before she can return to work. If radiation and chemo has to begin, the bills will just continue to come. It would
