HELP THIS WWII VETERAN GET HIS ELECTRIC SCOOTER! Jack Hugman is a 96-year old WWII U.S. Navy veteran and survivor. He was a Seaman 1st Class. He was just at the State Capitol last week and was honored at a ceremony along with several other WWII survivors. We learned that he needed an electric wheelchair so let's get this hero one! He lives alone in the Austin area and was born in Boerne, TX. His wife passed away 11 years ago after 61 years of marriage. He is just the sweetest, most humble man ever. He has 4 children; all retired. (3) are living in California and (1) is a retired Austin PD and lives nearby. He also has (7) grandchildren and (8) great-grandchildren. He still drives his truck so we are looking for an electric scooter/chair that is a combination of light-weight and durability. He is currently using a traditional wheelchair which is difficult for him to get in and out of his truck.
