Help Thomas and Cheryl Clark Rebuild!

Tom & Cheryl Clark have always been known for their kind hearts and generosity. Through the little they manage to have, they have given much. They are both two of the hardest working people you would ever want to meet… They have given much of their wealth and time to not just their little local church, but their family, global ministries, friends and strangers alike.
In raising their children they never hesitated to set an extra place at the table. And throughout the years they have taken in many, shared their roof and called them family. They taught many to not give up on themselves and not to go it alone, but to rely on each other and God for what is needed.
Leaning on this lesson, Tom & Cheryl must now trust for new provision. As of October 5th the couple has been left with very little. An electrical issue caused a blaze in their mobile home in Fruitland Park. A photo of their family was one of the very few things first responders were able to pull from the wreckage. A lifetime of memories and belongings gone in an instant… They literally walked away with the clothes on their back.
The family dog, Quinn, was also pulled out, alive but badly injured. He was rushed to the animal hospital where he was treated and Tom and Cheryl were given enough time to say goodbye. Quinn was not an ordinary dog… He was absolutely the smartest and sweetest and most obedient little creature God could ever have given them. He was truly their baby and of all they lost that day, losing him was the most heart wrenching element of it all.
Because their recently bought mobile home had reached the age limit, insurance coverage options were minimal. Tom and Cheryl are facing great loss, and are challenged with how to restart their lives in retirement. And they must now rely on the generosity of others. This is especially difficult for this couple as they have literally spent their entire lives giving to others in every way imaginable…Although they are confident that the Lord will provide we felt led to announce this tragedy publicly and to ask for others to reach down in their heart and help.
Please consider donating to help this couple navigate what’s next. They are still in great need of everything, from essentials to assistance with damage removal to figuring out a place to live. If you would like to contact us, you may message us below or through Facebook messenger.
