Help Thomas get to Cooperstown!

Thank you for stopping in and seeing my son's story here. I'm Deonna Zakaria. Thomas mom. Here's his story. Thomas has been playing baseball since he's 4 years old. In time over the past 7 years, he has developed himself into a very strong catcher. Unfortunately due to covid restrictions in 2021 along with not having a full team the following year in 2022 for Cooperstown he didn't get to go... and he was crushed. Not once but twice! Because if you're a baseball mom like myself, you feel and understand the importance and pinnacle of this long awaited moment that a boy ages out of little league with his teammates together one final time at Cooperstown before they all separate and do travel ball and grow up. But I'm here today saying by the grace of God HE'S GOT ONE AND ONLY ONE MORE CHANCE TO GET THERE!! And you can help! He made 2 Elite travel teams and has decided to join the Perfect Game East Coast Lumberjacks until 18U as their starting catcher and starting 3rd baseman. They are going to Cooperstown this August and Thomas' biggest prayer is to go! The cost is $2400 and I'm asking humbly for any donation that you may be able to give so that he can get there. As a mother of 3 boys times are so hard. Ifyou know Thomas you know this is his life and how committed he is to going D1 one day! We try so hard to give them what they need after my husband started a new job and took half a pay cut. Any donation is so amazing and generous and APPRECIATED!!
