Help Thorndon Park Recover

Hi everyone,

It’s Ashley & Westy from The Golf Supply. We received a gut wrenching call from Thorndon Park, an amazing golf club based locally to ourselves yesterday morning.

They informed us that in the late hours of the night before 2 complete cowards had driven there quad bikes through a gap in the property’s perimeter and made there way onto the golf course.

In the approximately 25 minutes they spent on the course, they completely tore up at least 7 greens by wheel spinning and drifting around and have torn up and damaged over 65% of the fairways too.

For us personally, Thorndon Park have always been the kindest, most accommodating and supportive golf club we are lucky enough to play & create content at. Across the past year we’ve filmed some amazing videos at this amazing course and to see this happen makes us extremely sad & angry.

The estimated damage at this stage is between £50,000 - £100,000 but this figure is likely to rise over the coming days as further inspections take place.

We know times are tough financially for many people but we’d like to try and show our support to Thorndon Park and provide them back with the same compassion they have shown us. If you have watched our videos at this club you’ll know just how brilliant it is!
