Hello, from the Thornhill Catering family! We have pledged to give away 1000 free meals.
Our Pledge to Everyone
1,000 Free Meals guaranteed. And every month for the foreseeable future if we can. Food Pantry’s supplies are down over 80% even though more people are going hungry. While we are giving away 1000 meals a month, this just hasn’t been enough to answer the overwhelming need, the requests for food far surpass what we can financially provide.
Thornhill Catering takes heartfelt action to help as many families as possible who are being impacted by this terrible crisis.
Because of the uncertainty about Covid-19, we made a choice to shift our focus from catering to that of feeding the many impacted families.
At first, our focus was to make sure our employees did not experience the loss of their jobs as so many tragically have. That focus quickly became so much bigger as stories of layoffs increased, so many are losing their jobs because of the mandated order to “shelter in place”. Never have we been asked not to go to work, these are unprecedented times.
Though there are still some who feel that this is all just an over-reaction, that it only affects the older population or just those with underlying health issues. There is also the belief that this is just the “regular flu”.
The fact that the nation is being asked to stay at home and not go to work when most are unable to do their work from home, will most assuredly have the biggest negative impact for us all. Our global economic health is just as at risk as our physical well-being. Lives are being destroyed by the rate of unemployment, which is spreading faster than the Coronavirus.
Thornhill Catering is compelled to do something to help and we know our efforts must reach everyone. The saying “we are all in this together” and “together we are stronger” has never been truer.
We need your help!!!!!! How? We need your donations so we can provide additional free meals. Or please just place an order for your home!!!! We are delivering affordable, safe, and of course delicious meals straight to your door. We have waived the delivery fee for home delivery and reduced our minimum size to $90.
Many have already stepped up to assist in feeding those in need and with your donation, together we can ensure that those who are hungry can eat another day. Imagine that, from our power of coming together.
How would you handle a sweet tooth extra? To express our gratitude for you joining us and donating in feeding those in need in these unprecedented times, we have 59 pies and the first people to donate will get these delicious pies for free, as our thanks.
Only working together will we make it easier for others and prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Meals we are Providing:
We will supply a hot breakfast of eggs/egg biscuit sandwiches and fruit. Or if lunch/dinner is preferably we can do boxed salads with chicken or boxed sandwiches including ham or turkey, fruit or chips.
Delivery and Pick-up Options:
Free delivery of all meals purchased and donated meals.
Picking up your meals would be greatly appreciated as it saves our resources to deliver to those who can’t. We are doing our best to accommodate everyone in this time of need.
Hours:
For now, we are open regular hours from 9 am to 5 pm. Our kitchen is open 24 hours each day to keep up with the demand.

Quarantined Packing:
Thornhill Catering and our family members have been following WHO and CDC guidelines since early January when we first started getting reports from China. Our team is required to change gloves after touching cans, products, fruit, so basically anything from vendors and the outside world. We are scheduling surfaces to be sanitized after each order. We have limited staff to the building to about five people. We are doing everything possible to ensure your safety and ours.
