Help those impacted by Earthquake in Turkey

Hi, My name is Arzu LeBlanc. I moved to the United States 22 years ago. I was born and raised in Adana, Turkey. I received the worst phone call from my family on Sunday, at 9 pm our time, 4 am their time. My sister told me that they left their 9th-floor condo due to a powerful earthquake. They were terrified as this was the strongest earthquake they felt in years. My sister and her family, my brother and his family and my mom have been sleeping in their cars and shelters since Sunday. They know they are the lucky ones as the death toll is 12,000 people and increasing. They also have a home to go back to as their buildings were not one of the collapsed or damaged ones where they live. Every day, my family in Turkey and I, learn about new families, who lost their loved ones or who lost their homes. Thousands of people need help. I will use the money that I raise here to donate to charities and buy supplies and drop them off at the Boston Turkish Consulate to be shipped to Turkey. Thank you for your support.
