Help those in Ashe County, NC affected by Hurricane Helene

My name is Anna and I am organizing this fundraiser to help the many families in Ashe County, NC recover after this horrible storm. These funds will be distributed locally to families and businesses that were impacted.

Hurricane Helene was catastrophic for the western North Carolina mountains, including the small community of Ashe County. During the storm, like many others, businesses and homes were left devastated as the New River overflowed. Along this river families lost precious items, keepsakes, furniture, and other necessities within their homes and businesses. Many lost everything they had, including their entire homes.

While many have seen the devastation in other parts of western North Carolina, Ashe County was equally as destroyed. So I would like to encourage you to consider donating to this small community so that they do not go unseen. Help those that live along this river rebuild in the wake of this 1 in 1000 year storm.
