Help Three Active Kids Overcome Lyme Disease

Hello, Dear Friends!!

Meadow here with the most heartfelt of pleas regarding the health of my sister's children. Please see her synopsis below.

Our three children could use your support right now. Matias (13), Tomas (11) and Gabriel (7) have been diagnosed with chronic Lyme Virus disease. We finally have answers as to what is causing joint pain, muscle aches, overwhelming fatigue and appetite and growth issues. We have found a Lyme specialist (Dr Kara Nakisbenid, MD) and started treatment. Dr. Nakisnbendi is confident that using an intervention plan that includes SOTS, we can put Lyme into deep remission and the kids will feel almost 100% in six months. Our kids love being active as their health permits, and are avid soccer players, hikers and rock climbers. It's devastating when they cannot be the athletes (or students) they would like to be due to Lyme.

We applied & were given grants to cover part of the cost; however, these interventions are not covered by insurance, and will still be 25,000 total out of pocket for all three kids. We also have immigration costs right now so that my husband can be a citizen and have more protection in this climate, which is another big cost at the same time as these medical costs. However, our kids will have the best chance if we do these interventions now vs waiting.
