Help Three Disabled Transfems Move To Safety Together

Five years ago, I made the risky gambit to travel across the country and move in with my girlfriend Robin, only for our plans to be completely upended by the Covid-19 pandemic. Though I eventually found employment, the damage had been done; my savings had been completely drained, and we were forced to move into a cramped and moldy garage owned by my father-in-law, unable to afford anything better. In 2023, I suffered a leg injury, further limiting my ability to work, stifling our finances further as well as our odds of moving out into a proper home. Furthermore, our father-in-law's dog is fiercely defensive, threatening to attack the two of us on-sight whenever we go outside. Despite efforts to keep her restrained, she has still attacked my girlfriend and I on multiple occasions.

Meanwhile, my partner Myste has spent the majority of their last decade of life confined to a single room, immuno-compromised and suffering from severe Crohn’s disease. Living with a deeply conservative and evangelical family that refuses to accept their identity, their daily life is oppressively bleak. And as anti-trans legislation and sentiment in the USA reaches a startling fever pitch in 2025, they need a safe way out more than ever.

Going forward into these uncertain times, we’ve decided we all need to move into a better place as soon as possible. With your help, we aim to secure an apartment, bring Myste over, and kickstart each of our lives anew. The gathered funds will cover moving expenses, travel costs, and establish a foothold while we seek out further income to become properly stable. Please help in giving us all a fighting chance!
