Help Thrive Continue Serving Boulder

As it comes with a heavy heart and an excitement for new opportunities, our location at 1509 Arapahoe is set to be demolished. We have been blessed in serving our community the highest quality organic offerings for almost a decade from our little centrally located spaceship in the heart of Boulder, Colorado. We will be celebrating our legacy and community on our last day open at this location on November 11, 2024. This will be a free event and fundraiser for the future of Thrive in Boulder.

After overcoming extreme obstacles over the years, we have been blessed to be able to continue to serve our community. We have been told since our second year open that the building was intended to be demolished the following year, and by the universe's will and grace, we somehow ended up continuing operations for an additional 8 years. The question now is how do we Thrive from a new location to continue serving the highest quality organic cuisine?

We have so much amazing support, and now is our call to action from all of you who want to see one of the last grassroots restaurants in Boulder prevail. We cannot do this without your help.

Having won awards for top 10 best restaurants in Colorado (2018) and healthiest restaurant in Boulder (2017-2024), we know that it would be a great loss to the spirit of Boulder. With an overall shift in the economy, it has seemed impossible to find a location affordable to continue our humble mission. We have recently found a space that can reasonably work to continue a Boulder location for Thrive. In order to make this transition a possibility and success, we are seeking your support. We are still recovering from the economic damage caused by COVID-19 and have absorbed a lot of its impact as debts. It was important to do whatever we could the past years to stay open, continuing to employ our employees, and all the while never degrading our quality or pushing the economic impacts onto the pockets of our patrons.

Our goals with our new location are to help give a better wage to our employees, incorporate different items into our menu, make our accessibility more eased and rapid (including delivery options) for those needing to be quick, while also opening up more space for dining in for those who want to come hang out.

We are excited for the vision of this new location and are in hopes that we can have it operating early 2025 as it already has a built-out kitchen and restaurant setup. This kitchen will allow us to incorporate more cooked dishes while still serving all your favorite raw meals as well. We also intend to serve libations and create a more intimate atmosphere for group dinners with the incorporation of entertainment, open mics, and a standup comedy night. Really focused on making a reality what we feel will best serve our community with the support of our community. Thank you so much!
