Help Thyo Get Back on His Feet Again (Literally)

Hey everyone, my amazing friend Thyo (he/him) is a 26 year old nonbinary person who has been very much down on his luck recently.

First he lost his job in the beginning of November and has been looking for work ever since. Most recently he broke three bones in his ankle due to a skating accident this December! His trimalleolar ankle fracture will require a surgery involving putting a metal plate and nails into his ankle. He needs complete bed rest leading up to and immediately after the surgery. After some improvement, he will undertake intense physical therapy for the next 2 months. Doctors says that he will not be fully recovered for 6-12 months.

This is his first experience dealing with a broken bone and dealing with surgery. He's trying his best to stay positive and focus on healing. The medical costs that can't be covered by Medicaid plus the daily living costs (rent, bills, groceries, etc.) without a job are affecting his housing security, and he's really scared. We are humbly asking for your help to please get him back on his feet in every sense of the word.
