Help Tianna Lay Her Son Kashawn to Rest.

As many of you already know, on May 15, 2022, Kashawn Johnson was tragically taken away from his mother, Tianna Nelson.

Kashawn was a gentle soul. He had a calm, warm disposition… and a spark in his eyes. He was a truly kind, compassionate, and respectful child.

It is hard to believe we are writing in an effort to help lay Kashawn to rest, when it was just

a few short months ago we celebrated his 18th birthday and early graduation from high school. Such an accomplishment speaks to the kind of kid Kashawn was, and the man he was becoming.

With a sense of purpose and his mother’s drive, he was excited to enter trade school. He had so much life left to live and so many friends and family members to enjoy… yet it was all devastatingly cut short.

Kashawn, being Tianna’s only child, was the center of her world. Kashawn was predeceased by his father, Pierre, when he was just a baby, leaving Tianna to raise him alone. Tianna fought hard to overcome the stigmas associated with single-motherhood. She put herself through nursing school (while working and raising Kashawn) to provide him the quality, enjoyable life he deserved.

Throughout his life, his mother’s only focus was the health, safety, and happiness of her nursing patients, and her one and only son.

One can only imagine the depth of grief she must carry after sacrificing everything to ensure his happiness, only to now have to live without him.

There is literally no pain like the broken heart of a grieving mother. After losing both Kashawn and his father, Tianna needs us. The only thing we want her focused on is wellness and healing.

I ask that you please consider lifting this heartbroken mother up in prayer, and offsetting the burden of her baby’s funeral costs and associated expenses.
