Help Tibetan Refugees Access Safe Water

The 2025 Apocolypse Krewe is raising money to address the lack of clean water for the most vulnerable segments of the Tibetan refugee population by installing and maintaining point-of-service, reverse osmosis / UV water filtration systems.

The Refugee Community Struggles to Afford Clean Water.

Illnesses caused by contaminated drinking water include chronic gastrointestinal problems (including extreme diarrhea), and typhoid and cholera are regularly reported in the Tibetan refugee community.

Because of these health issues, many children are unable to attend school, and adults are unable to work, adding to the daily challenges faced by the refugee community. In many cases, these illnesses can be fatal.
