Help Tiffany Restore After Eaton Fire
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Inez Bass, and I currently reside in Calimesa, CA. I am reaching out on behalf of my sister-in-law, Tiffany Hockenhull, who recently faced a harrowing experience as the devastating Eaton Fire rapidly approached her home on Callecita Dr. in Altadena. With only moments to react, she fled with her life with nothing but the clothes on her back, leaving behind all her possessions.
Tiffany was a youth coach at Eliot Middle School (also completely destroyed in the Eaton fire), a dedicated community leader and the founder of Hawks Village of Leadership, a youth organization committed to leadership development among the youth in the Altadena and Pasadena communities. Through her tireless efforts, she has empowered countless young individuals to realize their potential and become active contributors to society.
In addition to her community work, Tiffany purchased the family home for her parents, where they were able to live out the rest of their lives. Her mother passed away just three and a half weeks ago, and her father two years prior. At only 38 years old, Tiffany has endured significant personal losses in a short period but continues to strive and push through these challenges with remarkable resilience.
The Eaton Fire has caused widespread devastation, destroying numerous homes and businesses in the area. Tiffany's home was also completely destroyed, resulting in the loss of all her personal belongings and essential resources for her youth organization work.
We are reaching out to friends, family, and the community to help my sister-in-law restore her life and continue her invaluable work with the youth. Your generous donations will be used for the following needs:
- Immediate Needs - Help pay for temporary housing once the insurance runs out, purchase clothing, shoes, personal items, daily essentials, and care for her beloved dog, Ziggy.
- Long-Term Recovery - As she navigates this chapter, she will need to replace her belongings, purchase furniture and household items now, and restore the resources necessary for her youth organization to continue its mission. She will also be seeking PTSD self care and recovery.
- Financial Obligation - Continuing to pay the mortgage on her destroyed home.
Any donation, no matter how small, will make a significant impact. If you're unable to contribute financially, please share this campaign with your network and all social platforms, it would mean the world to us.
We deeply appreciate the outpouring of support and love from everyone. Your kindness will help Tiffany find hope and strength to move forward and continue making a positive impact in the community that has had so much loss and devastation.
