Help Tiffany Walker Recover from Major Surgery
Donation protected
Dear Family and Friends,
I am reaching out to you today to ask for your help and support.
You may have heard that my daughter, Tiffany Walker. Niece to Bob, Mike and and Liz Webb, was recently diagnosed with a rare complication from gastrointestinal disease. This all started a few weeks ago when she went to a clinic to seek help for debilitating stomach pain. She was immediately directed to the hospital where she was admitted. More tests and numerous specialists and she got the diagnosis of a colovesical fistula. A strong regiment of antibiotics was initiated over several weeks to help control the infection to a point where surgery could be performed to repair the damaged colon, bladder and remove the damaged gallbladder. This is a major surgery that is happening today over the course of 5-6 hours. Recovery will be tough and painful and require weeks in both the ICU and a rehabilitation facility. This is in addition to the two weeks she has already spent in the hospital.
We all love Tiffany because she has an indomitable spirit and spreads laughter and love wherever she goes. Even with all of this happening, she still smiles and helps me, and her Aunt Liz think positively. She reminds us that the prognosis of recovery with the surgery is very good. And despite the painful and lengthy road to recovery she looks forward to moving towards a healthier future.
The effects of this illness and emergent treatment are hard to hear, but the financial impact on her small family from uncovered medical expenses, post-surgery specialty care and loss of income is devastating.
We can’t cure Tiffany or wave a magic wand to make it all better. But we can help support her recovery and ease the financial burden and resultant stress that she is facing. Our goal is to raise $4,000 for her to pay the uncovered medical and other expenses while she is recovering.
I am humbly asking for donations to help. Your support would provide not just financial relief but also encouragement during this difficult time.
Your kindness would mean the world to her, to all of us. I want to express on my behalf and hers, our most sincerest gratitude for considering it or even reading this far.
Warmest regards
