Help Tiffany with Medical Costs for Breast Cancer

Hi all, this is Jeremy and Desi, and we are creating this page on behalf of my (Jeremy's) fiance' and (Desi's) best friend. We've each known Tiffany through many stages of life and have watched one another transition from one stage to the next, but this last season has been the most challenging of any season yet. If you have made it to this page, it is likely that you know Tiffany already and know that in addition to being one of the most genuine souls that God has graced us with on this Earth, she also wears many hats. She has worked tirelessly to become one of the most talented hairstylists in her community and has spent the last 15 years mastering her craft. She also applied that same intense effort into her studies to become a Marriage and Family Therapist and Doctor of Psychology. As if those two professional positions don't keep her busy enough, she has this quality about her that makes anyone who crosses her path feel so special, valuable, and important just as they are.

 

Since being diagnosed during a pandemic her world came to a complete stop, which meant she had to stop working entirely. Mind you, unfortunately, salon closures impacted Tiffany through the pandemic right before she was diagnosed. Tiffany was forced to stop seeing clients for hair and therapy; it was vital for her to focus on her physical and mental well-being.  She fought her battle privately with her fiance', closest friends, and family by her side. This life event was so unexpected and one that forcefully launched her into making many decisions in a very short period of time. Those decisions included, fertility treatments, egg-retrieval surgery, embryo storage, cold-capping treatments-which helped limit the amount of hair loss, and aggressive approaches including port-a-cath placement, 13 rounds of chemotherapy over the course of 5 months, surgery (lumpectomy), and 21 rounds of radiation that would target the areas most effectively. The many decisions Tiffany was bombarded with upfront were not made easily and came with an unimaginable financial cost.

 

We have started this page to help cover the medical costs so far and any unexpected medical expenses that may come up in the future. We know that anyone who has met Tiffany has been positively impacted in one way or another; for others, she has been there for some of the most vulnerable moments, turning points, achievements, and celebrations. She is known for always being ready for memory-making moments and we are both so glad to see her on the other side of treatment CANCER FREE and in the recovery phase of this journey. We know that she has an entire army behind her ready to come together as she has done for so many. Let's help her get back on her feet. We appreciate anyone who has it on their heart to donate to help with relieving some of the financial burden that has come from this very difficult phase for her.
