Hello, my name is Tim Bogdanov. I am fundraising to help me cover my rescue helicopter and medical expenses after suffering from severe frostbite injuries on my finger and toes on Annapurna I. Annapurna is one of the most dangerous 8000ers and I am the first swedish person reaching the summit, climbing without bottled oxygen. Then the bad weather arrived quickly, and as a result of the bad weather I endured hallucinations and could not find my way back to camp 4. I had to spend one night outside above 7100m by myself. The next day I managed to find my camp 4, where I spent another night before the rescue helicopter could bring me down to basecamp. After fast treatment in basecamp, I was flown to Kathmandu and got hospitalised for four days until I could fly home to Sweden.

Arriving in Sweden, I didn't get taken seriously for my injuries. Through public health care they could not provide Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy, which is my last chance to save my fingers. I found a private Hyperbaric oxygen chamber here in Gothenburg, Sweden, and started my self-funded treatment. So far I have covered all the expenses myself because my insurance company have chosen not to support me at all. I need all the help I can get to make it through the entire recovery process.
