Help Tim Keel Get Back on His Feet

Hi, my name is Melody, and I am lucky to call Tim Keel my Dad. As many of you all have seen on season 8 of Queer Eye my Dad has dedicated his life to taking care of his brother. For over 30 years he spent every day by his brother’s side making sure he got out of bed, got to experience the joys of life, and was surrounded by endless love. He also worked in shipyards, kitchens, metal machine shops, and cleaning out chemical tankers for his whole life which unfortunately wrecked havoc on his body. He has undergone back, two shoulder, two knee, and open heart surgery. He is disabled, and needs another back surgery and foot surgery to be able to have a quality of life. He has given up his love of rescuing animals and collecting Kiss memorabilia to save for these procedures, but, as you can imagine, the current medical system is not affordable and these procedures, and even affording monthly bills, has seemed unobtainable. Before Queer Eye I watched him hit rock bottom, believing that he could no longer live with how things were going. The Queer Eye experience pulled him out of the darkest hour, and gave us all hope for the future.
