Help Timothy’s School Tuition

Hello, my name is Brittany Smith and I am a single mother raising two beautiful children. In 2021, it was a time for my children to say goodbye to daycare and hello to a big kids school. My son started kindergarten and my daughter enrolled in pre k. It was hard to find the right school for them as I wanted to make sure my son receives the proper help in his education. Due to some learning challenges, where we reside, and the location of my job, I had to put them in a private school. When I was growing up, my parents enrolled me in a private school and I enjoyed every moment of it. It was very family oriented and made sure the students received all the help they need. They taught us a lot and provided us values of life. I wanted the same for my children and would do anything to make that possible. I continued to work two job, finish my degree, and be the best mom I can be. As time went on, I thought I could handle the financial aspect of them being in a private school but I couldn’t. With my regular bills, no support from their father, and adding this bill to my monthly expenses, it started to get overwhelming. I took out a loan which helped a little but it’s still not enough. I started this go fund me page because I am asking for some help to keep my children in their school. They enjoy being at the school with their friends and I am seeing so much improvement in their education. The staff at the school are great and I don’t want to take them out. I’m working on coming up with a better plan financially to keep them in the school with seeing about scholarships and/or assistance. As of today I received a letter stating that they will no longer be able to continue at the school as of March 14 if I don’t pay the balance. It saddens me to receive such a letter of a possibility that my children will not have a school to attend and have to start the search for a school all over again in the middle of the school year. I am asking for any help from friends, family, or any individual that sees my story. I would greatly appreciate it and so will my children. Thank you all for reading my story.
