Dear friends, family, & kind hearted strangers,

My name is Amber Perry and Tina Gifford is my mother; she is also a wife, a grandmother, a friend, and a local business owner. I am reaching out to you today with a heavy heart and a glimmer of hope. Our family is facing an unimaginable challenge and I am asking & praying for your help. Tina has been recently diagnosed with stage 4 primary peritoneal cancer & I am determined to do everything in my power to help her win this fight.

Let me tell you a bit about my mother. She has always been the backbone of our family, selflessly putting others' needs before her own. Her infectious smile and kind heart have uplifted us during the happiest of moments and carried us through the toughest of times. My mother is now facing a life-or-death illness and I believe it's our turn to ensure cancer is only a small chapter of her life, not her story.

Cancer has thrown us into a whirlwind of emotional and financial distress. Despite all the strength she possesses, the cost of her treatments is over $300,000 and insurance refuses to cover or help with this cost. In just a few short weeks, medical bills have begun piling up and additional tests and treatments are becoming difficult to afford. Our family's resources have quickly stretched to the limit and we can't do this alone.
