Cancer Sucks! Help Tina w Medical Bills & Costs

 

 

 

 

 

On October 10, 2021, the day after my sister, Tina, attended her youngest child’s wedding, a mass was discovered on her brain. The next morning on October 11th, she underwent emergency brain surgery at Ruby Medical Center in Morgantown WV. 95% of the tumor was removed. On October 25th, it was revealed that the tumor was malignant, and the other 5% needed to be aggressively attacked by radiation and chemotherapy.  Tina has officially been diagnosed with high-grade infiltrating glioma, morphologically consistent with glioblastoma, an aggressive form of cancer.  Tina is about to undergo radiation for six weeks, five  days a week, plus chemo. Tina is the mother of three adult children. She put her two daughters through college, while her oldest son is a decorated Iraq War Veteran. Tina went back to college later in life and had just obtained her degree this past spring and landed a job in her career field two weeks before all of this happened. No one saw this coming. Tina is now without income from her job and facing uncertainty on so many levels. Tina is one of the most loving, caring, and selfless individuals I know. My sister is not only my hero, but a hero of many. I admire how strong a woman she is. Now, Tina needs our strength, our prayers, and unfortunately help with astronomical medical bills and just basic costs of living. Any donation you can give will be so appreciated.
