Help Tiqa and Walter Get the Care They Need

Donation protected
I'm going to cut right to it: my husband and I have spent over $12,090.31 on veterinary bills alone for our two dogs between June 10th and August 22nd. All of that went on credit cards because who has that much expendable income? And we just found out that my husband's workplace is cutting jobs and cutting his hours in half come November, so he is trying to find another job. We are going to need just a little help in order to make ends meet.

Tiqa is the Labrador Retriever. She turned 8 years old this spring. In June she ruptured her ACL ($544.84). In July she had TPLO surgery on her left knee ($5,089.38). In August she had to have possibly cancerous masses removed from the eyelids of both eyes ($826.93). Her post-surgical check ups are in September, and at that point she can hopefully be rid of the cone. However, she will need to have another TPLO surgery on her other knee in the future, which is another $5,000. I was hoping to do that next spring, before that torn ACL fully ruptures, so that she can finish the 8-12 week recovery in time to actually enjoy her 9th summer.

Walter is the German Shepherd. We rescued him 3 years ago (when he was 4 years old). He was the runt of the litter, born blind with glaucoma, and had both eyes removed before he was 9 months old. Shortly after we got him, he had cancerous tumors removed from his chest. In June we took him to an immunologist 3 hours away to seek treatment for his recently-diagnosed perianal fistulas ($718.06). In July, he developed weakness in his hind legs and was tentatively diagnosed with degenerative myelopathy ($121.34). In July he lost the coordination to walk entirely and would not stand on his own, so we took him to a neurologist 2.5 hours away for an MRI ($4,789.76). He was diagnosed with wobblers disease (not degenerative myelopathy), and his treatments have been going well.

I hate asking for help, but sometimes it just has to happen. If we can get enough to pay for just one of the dogs' ~$5,000 procedures, that would be an immense financial burden lifted. Please give if you can, share if you feel so inclined, and give your fur butts a hug. Thank you for reading this far.
