Help TJ and Stephanie Overcome Health Challenges

2 people need us more than ever right now. They are TJ and Stephanie Thompson... I am hoping all of the good and love that they have put out there in this world comes back to them 3 fold. Here is their story...( taken from TJ's words)

This is a post from the heart ❤️ I really just want say: “What the hell! Here we go again!!”

If you have followed us from the beginning then you know our journey and who we are, our passion for riding & community unity. In 2013, Steph brushed the shoulder of death with a 50/50 chance emergency brain surgery to remove a tumor in her 4th ventricle.

Fast forward to 2 weeks ago; she was sent to the cardiologist because of Bradycardia, average heart rate of 50 & at times in the low 30’s as well as her feet swelling. Her cardiologist did an EKG in the office because my heart rate was 29 that day & also scheduled an echocardiogram.

Well, we got results on Tuesday & it was NOT what we expected.

She has heart failure with an ejection friction of 40%. It is mostly her lower left chamber but overall her heart muscles shouldn’t be this weak at 41 years old. She basically has a heart of an 90 year old!

Once again, I stared at the love of my life thinking what the f@ck are we going to do.

Like always - she’s as calm as ever with a smile on her face. The smile is to reassure me that she’s as tough as they come! She also knowing internally that I’m breaking down. She’s always right and can read me like a book.

So, now we wait… the waiting game. Y’all know what I’m talking about as we deal with this f@cked up healthcare system that we have in-place. Insurance, referrals, overpriced medicine, prior authorizations and to plainly put it “just getting people to move their f@cking ass in a timely matter!”

With all that being said, we need all the positive thoughts, good vibes and whatever religion you are.. pray to your God for my girl!

We are very confident that this is just a speedbump and with the support of our community like we’ve always had… we WILL make it through this with nothing but a scar and a story to tell.

You don’t meet a cool person for no reason, they’ve always gone through something.
