Help Tj Carrozza Recover and Rebuild

Hello everyone

This go fund me page has been initiated & created by members of the local community to offer some much needed support to someone who has shown up and offered so much of himself to bring community together. On Thursday evening, August 15th 2024, Tj Carrozza was struck by a vehicle while he was waiting at a red light on his electric bike in Columbia, Pa. He was taken into LGH hospital and has been in the ICU since then. He sustained a multitude of injuries and after a 7 hour surgery yesterday, he is stabilized and the medical team is very optimistic about his full recovery As of now, he is currently still on a ventilator and under sedation while his body works to heal. It is unclear yet when he will be released from the hospital. Once this chapter comes to a close and he heads home, he will have a challenging road ahead as he continues to heal. We are creating this page in hopes that we can offer some financial support to help him replace his e-bike (which was destroyed in the accident and was his main mode of transportation), and help with rent and bills so that this does not have to be an immediate stress on him we he regains consciousness and begins his healing journey. Tj has offered so much of himself to support others and bring people together in the name of art, music, and community. He initiated the creation of the SRCC (a non profit art and music collective) in Columbia about 2 years ago, which has since brought so many people together and nurtured so many new connections of people supporting other people. He thrives on community, and our hope is that we as a community can offer a bit of ease and support in this challenging time.
