Triathlon (10th May 2025)

Morris Field will be competing in his first triathlon. However both Granville & I have also signed up for this event.

I'm doing this as a supporting role to Morris... Morris will be throwing himself in bodies of water around the Holme valley (under my supervision), joining me for regular running & has already covered Huddersfield & Holmfirth on his bike in training for this event.

My name is Morris Stanley Field (my mum likes to use my full name) my friends call me just Morris.

I attend Honley High school & we have been offered the trip of a lifetime to Borneo in 2025. The cost of the trip is a eye-watering £4125.

I work at the local golf club as a pot washer & have for nearly a year now, so I have pulled together my deposit, but that's the easy bit. I will continue to work hard & look to earn & partake in all the lovely fundraising events we have planned over the next 12 months (watch out for all the fabulous events we have in store).

This trip is not a holiday... its hard work & will take real character, strength & determination. Its a 18 day trip & I will put the link below.

When covid hit everything changed. I missed my last year of primary & first year of high school & all the world flicked to tech based communication & has pretty much stayed in that way.

This trip will allow me to grow without tech, we are not allowed phones, ps5,xbox, Snapchat, im sure you get the picture. This trip is about giving back, it's being present, helping families & my mums favourite the orangutans (I think she's jealous of that part of the trip).

We will be rebuilding homes, schools, enclosures, teaching/education. We will also learn so much more from the community we are helping (more than they will ever know).

This trip will prepare me for the next chapter..... (the big bad world).
