Our father, Steve Brown, is the definition of a real man. On October 7, 1978, he vowed to love our mother, Helen until death parted them.  At age 40, Dad was suddenly widowed when Mom, age 38 passed away. Molly was 12, and Ryan was just six months old. Dad not only fulfilled his wedding vows to our Mom, but he also took it further.  Dad had been widowed for 28 years, 5 months, and 16 days, and was STILL wearing his wedding ring when passed away.
