Help with debt incurred during cancer, injury, and illness

Hi my name is Gayle and I am raising money to ease the debt impact incurred during my husband Bob's treatment and recovery from cancer, followed by my injuries and illness. While the cancer began during the covid year, Bob continued to work as long as he could following the initial surgery and following cancer treatment. Then I broke my back and he was needed at home to care for me and we lived off of his single pension. During this time our debt grew as we depended on our credit cards for the year I waited for my 65th birthday and pension. We gave up our car because of costs and depended upon grocery delivery services. Currently, as seniors on a basic pension, after paying our bills, we are barely able to afford the essentials. Most of my pension goes to debt and service charges.

My husband has diabetes, and I have Crohns disease, while we both require a specific diet, this isn't in our budget. Food hasn't been the priority it should have been.

I am on the autism spectrum and have created a non-nonsense directory/network/celebration for neurodiverse and friends gocybernaut.com. While the 600-plus pages have the potential to earn money my autism communication barriers prevent me from proper self-promotion. I also have a difficult time understanding SEO or why Google has issues with indexing my website.

If I didn't need to worry about surviving the day, the week, or the month, perhaps I could put more energy into learning how to better manage my neurodiversity and financial security.

I am not putting this go-fund-me out there lightly, I want to have hope. I am currently overcoming a serious illness that has pushed me to reach out to new possibilities. I am putting this wish out into the universe with the hope that there will be positivity coming back.
