Help to get Paul Cotter Home

Hi to all,

Paul Cotter (The Chapel Cafe, Killarney Golf Club) as many might know by now is currently in a critical condition in hospital in the Gran Canaria. Paul became ill on the 25th of October while on holiday with his wife, Sheila in Lanzarote and was admitted to hospital there and subsequently was medically airlifted to Gran Canaria for specialised treatment.

Paul has been through some critical days but is now stable enough to travel home by means of a specialized medi-flight. Although Paul is stable right now, time is of the essence and we have a short window (5-6 days) where he is stable enough to travel home to Ireland, otherwise his treatment will have to begin in Gran Canaria which will mean Paul will have a long road ahead in a hospital in a different country far from his home and family.

The hospital cannot emphasize enough how important it is to get him home.

As we speak, his insurance company are very slow to respond to the urgency of the situation and the family are very worried that they will refuse this flight altogether.

On Behalf of the cotter family they would like to extend there heartfelt gratitude in advance to anyone that can help however little or big your donation.

For those of us who know Paul personally, we all know what a kind and caring man he is and he would be the first to offer his help as he has so many times before to those in need of it. Paul is greatly loved by his many family and friends, especially his five grandchildren who all adore him. We all continue to keep Paul in our prayers and please God we will have him home safe and well, and as soon as possible.

This has been an extremely difficult time for Paul's family so any little bit of help is hugely appreciated.
