Help to get to baby Keegan
Donation protected
Our names are Christian and Ashley Keegan. In early 2020, we were diagnosed with infertility/recurrent pregnancy loss. Since April 2020, we have been undergoing fertility treatment. After multiple failed medicated cycles and IUIs, we went through an IVF cycle. From this, we were able to transfer a genetically tested normal embryo in September of 2023 and she stuck. Unfortunately, we lost her on October 9th at 6 weeks.
We want to try one more round of IVF, as this is the treatment that worked for us. Our insurance only covered one round of IVF. We both have always dreamed of being parents, this is why we are asking for help. Everything and anything is appreciated, even if it is just best wishes.
Update, May 2024:
The past few months have been a roller coaster. Our insurance approved some procedures, after having them done they stated they are not covering them, so we took a break to pay off the bill. During this time, we had an unplanned, natural pregnancy that unfortunately ended up being an ectopic. Thankfully, with the help from our clinic, we were able to resolve it before a rupture happened.
Especially with this recent loss and after other testing, our path has changed.
Years ago we tried the process of adoption, but after a couple of months we found ourselvesh overwhelmed with funding, our inexperience also led us to spending way more than we needed to, fertility treatment was the cheaper option. With our new knowledge and better paying positions/jobs, we have started the process of a home study to start the adoption process again. We understand this also maybe a long process, but we are excited for your new adventure to getting to baby Keegan!
Thank you for reading our story.
