**UPDATE** Unise is no longer suffering. She has no more pain. She is rejoicing in heaven with her beautiful daughter Adrienne. Unise has passed away crossing the veil to be with those that have left before us. Your donation is needed now more than ever. Thank you kindly.
Our beloved sister, Unise Gonzalez, was taken to the hospital four weeks ago after experiencing severe headaches and confusion. Initially, we feared she might be suffering from depression or anxiety. She was admitted to the intensive care unit right away so the doctors could determine what was causing her distress. After an MRI, they discovered a malignant tumor in her brain. The following day, she underwent surgery, during which the doctors removed part of the tumor for a biopsy. The results confirmed our worst fears: she has been diagnosed with glioblastoma, an aggressive and inoperable brain tumor (stage 4 cancer). In just a few short weeks, the tumor has spread to other parts of her brain.
Given the nature of this cancer, the doctors have decided that chemotherapy and radiation would not improve her condition or quality of life. She has now been released from the hospital to spend her remaining time surrounded by loved ones in her own home. Sadly, she has stopped eating and has lost vision in one of her eyes, as the tumor continues to spread rapidly. The doctors have told us she has only about 20 days left with us.
This has all been so sudden, and her family is struggling to cope, both emotionally and financially. We ask for your love, prayers, and support during this heartbreaking time. Your kindness and compassion mean the world to us as we face the difficult days ahead.
This GoFundMe has been set up on their behalf. Please donate for the family’s hospital bill and funeral arrangements. If you are not able to donate please share in your network. We kindly ask that you keep her and her family in your prayers during this heartbreaking time.
