Help to give Hosenbi and her family a safe house

Donation protected
Hosenbi Bagadegiri is an amazing human being. She is a light that shines through her kind soul and offers everyone her delicious homemade cooking. She has been working with our family for the last 25 years! She came to us by chance of Karma, in the 1990s when some of my family came to the United States. My brother Ghudak and his wife remained behind to take care of our aging parents. Today my parents have passed on, and Hosebi is still there and I consider her a sister with a deep connection to our family and me.

This year when I visited her home, I was shocked to see what was left after the heavy monsoon rain and thunderstorms. Most of the house was fallen apart, she and her family were living in a makeshift temporary house. The walls had holes, and mosquitoes filled the house. Some straws are lined up with metal sheets as a roof. I was saddened by this condition! Like many other women, she has been the sole breadwinner for a family of four children and three grandchildren.

Housing is a basic necessity and basic human dignity. I came back with much hope that maybe we can all help to give Hosenbi and her family a helping hand to build a small basic safe house. We can all be a part of the opportunity to help one family live in a safe and dry home!

Please give generously whatever you can to the Hosenbi family!
