Help Julie McGuinness:Fund for Memories & Farewell
Donation protected
It breaks my heart to write this but just two short weeks ago my beautiful best friend Julie was diagnosed with terminal cancer at the very young age of 55. She was given an estimated prognosis of just 12-24 months to live. This week she received her biopsy results which have dealt a new blow, by reducing that prognosis by half to just 6-12 months. Everyone who knows Julie is truly devastated, not least her two children Sophie and Samuel, who love and adore her. After tragically losing their Dad 4 years ago, they now face losing their precious Mum too. Julie and the children are each other’s lifeline and together they are navigating this difficult news, remaining strong and positive, but with a sense of reality.
For those of you that know Julie, she is a beautiful, funny and caring soul. She is definitely one of life’s earth angels and would absolutely do anything for anyone in a heartbeat, which she has demonstrated time and time again. Life can be so cruel, and we can all agree that this should not be happening to her. Unfortunately, Julie hasn’t been afforded the gift of time she originally thought she had, to plan and make provision for her funeral, and I would like to ask you all to support me in making sure that Julie doesn’t have to worry about her funeral costs over the coming months and we are able to give Julie the funeral that she deserves.
Any monies raised will primarily go towards the cost of her funeral, and any extra monies raised will give Julie and her children, the opportunity to make some beautiful memories and support the children afterwards.
Please donate whatever you can, no matter how small and let’s give Julie and her children the peace of mind over the next few months, and the send-off she deserves.
Thank you
