Help to Glaucia on Cancer treatment expenses

Dear friends and kind-hearted souls,
Today, I come to you with a heavy heart to ask for your support for my dear cousin, Glaucia. At just 33 years old, Glaucia is a dedicated nurse, a loving single mother to her sweet 4-year-old daughter Antonella, and a woman of remarkable strength.
She came to Australia with a heart full of dreams — the dream of building a better life for herself and her daughter. For a while, it seemed that everything was falling into place. She worked and studied tirelessly while doing everything she could to renew her student visa and bring little Antonella, still in Brazil, to be with her in this beautiful land.
But life, as we know, can sometimes present us with unexpected challenges. During a required medical check-up for her visa renewal, Glaucia received devastating news: PMBCL — Primary Mediastinal Large B-cell Lymphoma. About the size of an orange, this is a rare and aggressive subtype of Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, accounting for only about 3% of cases.
It originates and grows in the mediastinum, the space between the lungs.
Yes — cancer.
In an instant, her plans came to a halt. She had to urgently return to Brazil to begin treatment, without the time or opportunity to recover financially. Much of her savings had already gone toward costly tests in Australia to reach the diagnosis, and now she finds herself in a vulnerable situation.
Today, we humbly ask for your help. Although Glaucia is currently receiving treatment in Brazil, she hasn’t had the chance to rebuild the savings she spent pursuing her dreams abroad. She now faces the high cost of ongoing tests and treatments, all while being unemployed and the sole provider for her daughter.
Glaucia is a Nurse and has always worked hard to create a better life for herself and Antonella. She is incredibly strong, but life has placed a heavy burden on her — and this is the moment she needs us most.
Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a meaningful difference in her life and bring a bit of peace during this extremely difficult time.
From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for your kindness, generosity, prayers, and positive thoughts. Together, we can help Glaucia hold on to hope and healing.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Glaucia’s Friends and Family
