Help to keep great small family restaurant open

Hello everyone this is Gabrielle Founder of Griffins Kitchen LLC Located in fort gaines ,Ga. As many of you may know I have given my all into starting and growing Griffins Kitchen the only full service restaurant located in a small rural town. A town in which my grandfather gave his all by owning several business and 300 arc farm , helping provide jobs and played a big roll in Developing a thriving community! Since relocating here to continue his legacy , I saw 2 very important needs that the town was missing , which was Real non processed home cooked affordable meals and Jobs! I was determined to provide just that for my town. Starting any business comes with many challenges the biggest being Funding!!! After being scammed by many grant writers , being promised grants that were never received, to not being able to get loans , due to the fact that I still have a new home mortgage in my name. So now we are here our business has finally began to grow which is Great , but the more business we receive the higher the overhead cost becomes. Having to make choices between keeping a roof over my family’s head or keeping the doors open on a business that really isn’t turning much profit. Of course I have to make the best decision, even work 2 additional jobs to make ends meet. The most successful business owners will tell you that if you get in to business just for the money you’re in it for the wrong reason!! I Genuinely enjoy providing a service to my community it brings me a since of joy and pride , It’s my Purpose! I wise person once told me that if you don’t ask you won’t receive, please give what you can and spread the word so I can keep the good food coming Thank You In advance!!
