Help To Keep My Empty Nest!

My name is Marva and I'm 76 years of age (trying not to feel old); parents are deceased; most family are out of state; the kids are only here in my memories; the grands are gone (finally building their own lives); jobs are all in the past (can't redo the top five, others are too physical); future jobs are not in realistic (cataract/shoulder/knees- all surgically replaired); mentally - wide awake in California! (Whoa, we just had a 3.5 eqrthquake this morning) No worries!!

So, not to sond like Job (Bibically), but when the last grand left home (after 50+ years of rasing one or another), the unemployment stopped and the rent was raised; only Social Security is left (not enough for rent, power, food, etc.) I helped run a charity for 10 years working with Veterans that was my joy. I' m a Navy Brat, so their desire to see War Memorials in Washington, DC was my Mission. Sadly, the pandemic and personal health brought that to a halt.

Now, almost two years later and still self quarantined, I have rearranged and down-sized my apartment to make it look more like my interests. That was, and is, quite the adjustment. With all that said, having more month than money will happen in February. I've done all I can to stem the out flow, but it hasn't been enough to encure the income was enough.

My request is for $4,200. The reasoning is that I'll be short $700 each month and if I can find a viable income in 6 months, I can remain independant. I'm putting together stories that may be sold. Surely someone is interested in 76 years worth of stories from a Mom, Grandma, Wife (don't ask), Flight Attendant to Mountain Woman and the multitude of jobs that led me areound the world and across this Nation.

Anyway, this is me and I hope you can help me keep my Empty Nest.
