Help to keep the Royal British Legion Club in Royston open

Donation protected
The Royal British Legion Club in Mill Road has a long history in Royston, serving members of the armed forces whilst also meeting members and guests needs and being a part of the Royston Community.

The premises were opened on 9th June 1910 as the “Hall” and was a centre for reservist training. On 11th November 1919 a Royston District Men’s Social Club was opened plus another group later merging to become Royston Branch of what is now the Royal British Legion in 1923. The Club was founded in 1937 and has worked with the Royston RBL Branch to support the RBL and provide a good social club for members and guests.

2024 finds several local community venues struggling to maintain premises and keep the businesses alive, it would be a great shame if we lose this venue as a community hub. The Club supports local dance groups, bingo nights, quiz nights, fundraising events, private parties, public celebrations like Remembrance Sunday, the recent Coronation and much more.
