Help to publish THE BALD PRINCESS
Donation protected
"Once upon a time, there was an imaginary Princess, that no one had imagined yet, because she didn't look like other Princesses... she was bald! Until, one day, a little girl named Sarah, who in a hospital and very sick, wished very hard for a friend she could talk to about losing her hair. Suddenly, POOF! The Bald Princess appeared. Sarah named her new friend Hope. This is their story."
The Bald Princess is a lovely tale of hope, overcoming fears, and overcoming illness. I hope this story helps children who are battling cancer or other devastating illnesses worldwide. And I hope it gives parents a tool to inspire courage, and understanding.
My daughter Vivian and I wrote this story ten years ago when she was 6 years old, and we've never forgotten it. Now, through the magic of illustrator Anastasia Khmelevska, I'm starting to see it come to life.
It will take $2500.00 to finish the illustrations, get it printed, packed and shipped.
Each donation of $23.00 or more will receive a signed copy of the book.
Donations of $100 pay for an entire page illustration and you'll have that page dedicated to you in the book! (There are 13 pages total.) You will also receive a copy of the artists original artwork for page.
After the funds have been raised, I expect the book to be finished by the summer.
