Help to Raise Closing Costs for the Davis Family

Hello to all, voluntarism and helping others has always been a pastime of mine, but Courtney and I have been faced with an unexpected challenge that has put me on the other side of that currently. A couple weeks ago we were given a notice to vacate our home, which came very unexpectedly. We thought we would be living in our home for many years to come and have enjoyed every moment of it with the kids, but due to circumstances entirely out of our control or choice, we were given a 30 day vacate notice. We quickly got to work looking for options, and having 4 kids and 2 dogs, we knew that we needed to find a home. Through some close friends, we got references and were able to line up a VA loan which gave us zero down for the loan, but because we are on such a short notice, we had to find something FAST, and thankfully we did. The only issue that has arisen is that what we did find and go into contract under was the max of our lending budget, leaving no room for closing costs. We know that this will be a home and property that will serve our family for many years and provide so many great things for our kids through their childhood, and that's where this GoFundMe comes in. We were not expecting any of this to happen at all, and so our funds are limited. For those of you that know me, you know that I'm very committed to my job and I work full time. My job does well by us, but we're in a tight spot right now due to the short notice of what we've been handed, and anything that can be added to this fund would mean the world to us. It will all go directly towards the costs of what we're trying to navigate in this unexpected challenge, and ultimately help us secure our first home and a stable living situation that we are in control of for our 4 children, that can't just be ripped out from under us as we're facing now. I'm not begging for a hand out, I'm simply asking that if you want or feel the need to chip it, any amount would mean so much to Courtney and I, and in keeping with the good spirit of donating and voluntarism I will always press my own contributions forward in the future when I'm able again to others, because I staunchly believe in this form of helping others. This time, it is just I that is in need of the help. I'm not embarrassed by this, so please feel free to share it.
