Help to raise funds for signage in vulnerable area
Donation protected
Hi thank you for taking the time to read this, WE NEED YOUR HELP . We are volunteers training under some amazing badger/wildlife groups,
A little bit about ourselves,
Robyn is currently in University studying criminology and law, wanting to become a crime wildlife officer, Claire has experience with domestic animals being a previous scanner, we both also have a sett that we help protect.
We are hoping to set up a group in Manchester as this area is currently not covered by a group affiliated to the Badger Trust . We are trying to raise awareness to help protect badgers and their habitats which are protected under the Badger Protection Act 1992. Recently there has been a few incident's in our local area, where sadly 3 cubs have lost their lives at the hands of humans, so we are hoping with the help of the public and the Go Fund Me page , to raise funds to get metal signage put up at 1 of the recent incidents as our previous laminated signs were all taken down.
The funds raised will also help towards equipment such as glove's , cages, trail cameras and anything else we may need.
We feel with the help of the community and the backing of the RSPCA , Mr Lumpy & Friends, Derbyshire High Peak Badger Group and Tameside People 4 Wildlife this can be achieved to help go forward and protect badgers and there habitats.
Thank You
Robyn Hogan & Claire Greenwood. xx
