Help to Restore Tina's Independence

Friend, family, rock, encourager, supporter, Tina Henderson Rowe has had a severe stroke, followed by appendicitis, and a cancerous tumor removal. As terrible as all this is, Tina is currently in a rehab facility gallantly working towards her independence. Ever a woman of Faith and determination she has maintained a positive attitude and it has shown in her continued improvement in physical, occupational, and speech therapy. Her family is writing to ask you on her behalf to donate to Tina’s GoFundMe so she can continue with her progress. When she was rushed to the hospital she not only had a stroke but her asthma flared and she was intubated. Covid weary and emotionally numb, the doctors assumed she wouldn’t make it. But prayer is POWERFUL. Tina’s WILL to recover is God-given. She is still with us and still fighting with a big heart.

Insurance has covered much of her treatment and rehab but further coverage has been denied. Tina can’t go home alone at this point and as much as we may want to physically help we all have responsibilities we can’t put on hold. Please, whatever you can give will be appreciated. We think in the next 6 months Tina will be mobile and self-sufficient enough to go home and eventually back to work. Her heart is aching to get back to caring for her family, volunteering in her community with the youth of the Camp Cadet program and the elderly, and doing her civic duties. Tina misses being there for baby showers and birthdays and helping out when and where she could. We know Tina has been a blessing to so many, and her heart and hands are needed and missed.
