Help to support jessica elliott cancer battle
Donation protected
My name is Jessica and I’m a 34 year old mother to three teenagers. I am a nurse for the past eight years and have always been the one to help someone in need. On March 5th my life changed when I went to the ER to find out I had a mass on my liver. I had a biopsy a week later and had multiple other tests completed. I found out I had stage 4 Cholangiocarcinoma, which is cancer in the bile ducts which had already metastasized to my liver, nodules, and lungs. I was surprised by these results since no family history of these types of cancers in my family. I was told surgery was no option and have to start aggressive chemotherapy. I start chemotherapy on April 25 for a 51 hour infusion. My chemo will be once every two weeks. I am already struggling with shortness of breath, fatigue, pain, and no appetite. I am not sure how much work I will be able to do in the upcoming weeks. I want to make sure my family doesn’t struggle financially because of me not being able to work. I am hoping to be able to focus on healing and fighting this fight.
If you can help financially, please know all funds raised will go directly to my bills. Your donation will help cover past, current and future medical bills. It will also help with any future needs I will have as this is just the beginning of my treatment and healing. Any size donation will help!
Please keep my family in your prayers as this will be a long journey headed my way.
